A Finals rematch on day 1 of the NBA regular season. Has that ever happened? The game when they give last seasons champion their rings and hang their banner, all of it in front of the team they beat for the right to wear those rings and hang that banner. Talk about pride.
This game may not matter in the end, but you must admit it makes for one hell of a beginning.
